UNSW's Master of Science in Health Data Science covers the entire health data science pipeline, from comprehending complex real-world health issues through data wrangling, machine learning, data mining, analytics, modelling and communication including data visualisation. The 72-credit-point program is fully articulated with the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma versions, so students from any undergraduate background or with relevant work experience can enter via the shorter credential and progress through, and high-achieving graduates can go on to PhD study. Student backgrounds will include healthcare (clinical, nursing and allied health), mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
