About this program
The Bachelor of Criminology at Victoria University develops the knowledge and practical skills to critically examine crime, justice and the operation of the criminal justice system. Students explore why people commit crime by examining social, political, cultural, psychological and economic factors, and through practical learning and real-world case studies gain experience identifying crime-related problems and developing evidence-based policy reform recommendations. Specialist subjects include crime and inequality, policing and offending, victimology, digital criminology, transnational and international crime, early intervention and crime prevention, corporate crime, environmental crime, and justice policy and reform. It is offered at VU in Melbourne.

Admissions
Meeting the minimum entry criteria does not guarantee entry into this course. Completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (VCE or equivalent) including Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 25 in English (EAL) or 20 in any other English (or equivalent). OR:.
