About this program
The Graduate Certificate in International Community Development at Victoria University is a practical postgraduate program, including workplace training, for a career in community development in local and international settings. Key study areas include community development theories and practices, project design, planning and management, advocacy of gender and human rights, and conflict resolution in groups and communities, with the course critically engaging with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Admissions
To be considered for postgraduate study, you will need to have specific academic qualifications, as outlined below. We also consider non-academic research and work experience for our research candidates. Admission criteria Completion of an Australian Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in any discipline OR Applicants with a minimum five (5) years approved work experience will be considered for admission to this course PLUS IELTS (or equivalent): Overall score of 6.5 (with no band less than 6.0 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking)
