About this program

A three-year science degree (144 units) about how the human body works in health and disease, with a choice of eight majors: biochemistry, clinical trials, genetics, medical science, microbiology and immunology, neuroscience, public health, or reproductive and childhood health, and the option of two majors.

Students use dedicated anatomy laboratories with real human specimens and complete a final-year work placement or research project. Entry is an ATAR of about 80 with no specific prerequisites. It prepares graduates for research and health-industry work and is a common foundation for postgraduate study, including graduate-entry medicine.
