Adelaide University Bachelor of Commerce is a three-year degree that builds foundational knowledge in accounting, finance, economics and commercial law before students focus through a major or double major. Majors include Accounting, Banking and Finance, Financial Planning, Property, and Business Analytics, the last covering industry-standard analytical tools, artificial intelligence and interpreting complex data for business decisions. The degree is built toward professional accreditation: an accounting major meets the entry requirements of CPA Australia and CA ANZ, the finance major aligns with the CFA Institute, and the marketing major is accredited by the Australian Marketing Institute. Entry requires a completed secondary qualification equivalent to the South Australian Certificate of Education, a Certificate IV or higher from a registered training organisation, or at least six months of full-time higher education study.
