About this program
The human-centred computing major of the Bachelor of Computer Science (three years, 144 units). It keeps the full computing core, programming, data structures, security and mathematics, and directs the 54-unit major toward how people actually use software: interaction design, user experience, usability testing and accessible interfaces, ending in a team capstone project for an external client.
The degree is accredited by the Australian Computer Society and recognised under the Seoul Accord. Entry is an ATAR of about 75. It suits students who want to stay technical but work at the boundary between engineering and design, moving into UX engineering, product roles or front-end and interaction development.
