About this program
The Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at Adelaide University equips students to diagnose and treat conditions across the full scope of speech pathology practice, including speech and language, swallowing, fluency, voice and cognition. Students explore core anatomy, physiology, public health and health research concepts and learn how these are applied in the speech pathology field. Professional and technical skills are sharpened in simulation suites and purpose-built training facilities, and through clinical placements. Speech pathologists help people of all ages who experience difficulties with communication or with eating and drinking safely, and graduates work across health, education and community settings.

Admissions
Completion of a secondary education qualification equivalent to the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), with a minimum ATAR of approximately 90 (or equivalent via VET Certificate IV+ or prior higher education study).
