Our new Bachelor of Business is future-focused and co-designed with industry, offering you the flexibility to tailor your degree to match your interests and career goals. Choose from a wide range of majors and minors, including accounting, finance, marketing, data analytics, human resources, information systems, managing healthcare organisations, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and sustainability. We know practical skills are essential for success. So, you’ll benefit from a range of community and industry placements during your degree. In class, you’ll participate in interactive workshops and gamified business simulations based on real-world situations. Plus, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics, cloud skills and cloud data services are wired into your studies to so you can tick Microsoft certifications off your to-do list and get an edge in the job market. In today’s world, you need professional, technical and cross-cultural skills. We are members of PRME so all our units are embedded with the United Nations sustainable goals and our intercultural communication module is designed to build cultural awareness and communication skills which are vital in the global workplace. You can further extend your intercultural experience by taking part in a Global Virtual Classroom, studying at our Rome Campus or participating in an international study tour. 1 term of coursework
- Completion requirements To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 240 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of: 60 cp from Specified Business Units (Part A) 20 cp from Core Curriculum Units (Part B)
- 80 cp from Major Units (single major) (Part C) 80 cp consisting of any combination of second major, minor(s) or electives (a maximum of 40cp of electives may be taken from outside the Faculty of Law and Business) (Part D, E and F). For elective units, Students must complete at least one unit at 300-level from the Elective list. Other requirements A Major consists of 80 cp. Students must complete at least one major. For professional accreditation in Accounting, students must complete both the major and minor in Accounting. For professional accreditation in Human Resource Management, students must complete the major in Human Resource Management. For professional accreditation in Marketing students must complete the major in Marketing. A Minor consists of 40 cp. Students must select units from their Business School discipline or approved interdisciplinary area in other Faculties as listed in the Schedule of Unit Offerings - Minors. Admissions
Year 12 completion (or equivalent), ATAR 60.00 for Melbourne. An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy. International applicants need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy. To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites at year 12, or equivalent:New South Wales.
