- Completion requirements To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 160 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings consisting of: 120 cp from Specified Accounting Units (Part A) 40 cp Elective units from Business / ACU Postgraduate Units (Part B) or Stream Units, consisting of either: i. Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) Stream: 40 cp Specified OHSE units (Part C) ii. Research Stream 40 cp Research units (Part D) iii. Information Technology (IT) Stream 40 cp IT units (Part E) To qualify for the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting, a student must complete 80 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings consisting of: 40 cp from Specified Units for the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting
- and 40 cp from other units in the Master of Professional Accounting Schedule of Specified Units To qualify for the Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting, a student must complete 40 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings consisting of: 10 cp from ACCT600 Accounting for Decision Making

Admissions
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy. To be eligible for admission to the course, an applicant must have completed the following prerequisites: Equivalent of an Australian bachelor’s degree in any discipline (the equivalent of an Australian bachelor's degree in a related discipline will be eligible for up to four units credit); OR A Graduate Certificate in a related discipline.
