Graduate Certificate in Management

Australian Institute of Business, Adelaide, SA, Australia

About this program

This is the entry tier of AIB's nested management qualification: four subjects, completed in as little as eight months studying one subject per term, that stand alone as a formal AQF Level 8 credential or feed directly into the Graduate Diploma and then the MBA without repeating coursework. It's the option AIB positions for managers who want a fast, low-commitment way to test postgraduate study, or who need a credential quickly for a role or promotion rather than the full MBA timeline.

The four subjects cover core business fundamentals (accounting for managers, economics for business, organisational behaviour and marketing management), taught in AIB's standard eight-week online terms with case-based, workplace-relevant assignments rather than traditional lectures.

Because the same four subjects form the first stage of the Graduate Diploma and MBA, nothing is wasted if a student who starts here decides to continue: it functions as a genuine "try before you commit" entry point into AIB's broader postgraduate business suite.
