Master of Business Administration (Entrepreneurial Management)

Australian Institute of Business, Adelaide, SA, Australia

About this program

This specialisation swaps the later-stage electives and capstone of AIB's standard MBA toward founding, scaling and managing a business rather than working within an existing corporate structure. It's a track aimed at students who already run a business, plan to start one, or work inside a family enterprise and want the strategic tools of an MBA applied to that context specifically.

The shared core (accounting, economics, organisational behaviour, strategy, operations, business law, marketing, corporate finance) is identical to every other AIB MBA specialisation, so students can generally decide on the entrepreneurial track partway through if their circumstances change (moving from employee to founder, for instance) without restarting.

The specialisation content leans into venture planning, growth strategy and innovation management, and the capstone project is commonly built directly around the student's own venture or a proposed one, which is a genuinely practical outcome compared to a hypothetical business plan exercise.
