Master of Business Administration (Human Resource Management)
Australian Institute of Business, Adelaide, SA, Australia
About this program
This AIB MBA specialisation is aimed at working HR practitioners or generalist managers moving into a dedicated people-leadership track. It gives students up to date knowledge of the global labour market, emerging workforce trends and forecasts, and the tools to plan talent management and drive strong people and business performance, while deepening understanding of HR's relationship with finance, operations, corporate governance, marketing and project management.
The shared 8-subject core (Leadership, Strategic Management, Marketing Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, Operations Strategy and Management, Financial Management, Project Management, Corporate Governance) matches every other AIB MBA stream, with the 3 elective slots and capstone Project directed toward workforce planning, industrial relations and organisational design. The capstone Project is typically framed around a genuine HR or organisational challenge from the student's own employer.
Delivered 100% online in 8-week terms with no residential requirement, matching the rest of AIB's MBA suite.

Career & PR pathway
Which careers in Business lead to skilled migration depends on the occupation, not the degree title. See the skilled occupation lists guide for which occupations are on each list, and the points calculator to check where you stand.
Admissions
Bachelor's degree (AQF Level 7) or equivalent, or an AQF Level 8 qualification in any discipline, or AIB's own Graduate Certificate in Management; at least 3 years of relevant work experience (assessments are work-oriented); completion of AIB's study readiness survey. AIB is not a CRICOS-registered provider and cannot enrol Student Visa holders, so all AIB students, including international applicants, study 100% online.
