About this program
Same twelve-subject AIB MBA backbone as the other specialisation streams, with the final subjects and capstone steered toward logistics and supply chain management, one of the less commonly offered MBA specialisations in Australia, and a natural fit for AIB's working-professional student base given how much of the logistics and freight sector operates around shift work that doesn't suit campus-based study.
The first eight subjects are identical to every AIB MBA candidate's coursework (the shared core that also forms the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma stages), which means students who started in a general management track can pivot into this specialisation later without losing credit for work already completed.
Specialisation content covers procurement, inventory and distribution strategy, and supply chain risk, culminating in a capstone project that AIB structures around a real operational problem, useful for students working in freight, retail distribution, manufacturing or import/export businesses who want the degree to double as a work output.
