About this program
The Bachelor of Asian Studies is a three-year degree at ANU's Acton campus that provides the language skills and cultural and historical expertise to lead Australia's engagement with Asia. Students combine language study, starting at beginner or higher levels, with discipline and area studies, drawing on the breadth of the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific. Graduates emerge with a nuanced understanding of the region and its national and subnational parts, and work in foreign affairs, trade, development, business, media and research with an Asia focus.
