About this program
The ANU Master of Professional Accounting is a 1.5-year degree for graduates from non-accounting backgrounds who want the technical grounding and professional recognition to work as accountants. Students who want to progress toward CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand associate membership complete a defined set of courses covering financial accounting, management accounting, corporate law, business statistics, finance and information systems. Entry requires a bachelor degree with a minimum grade point average of 5.0 on a 7-point scale, or an ANU Graduate Certificate of Accounting at 4.5, and international students must enrol full-time each semester. Graduates work in accounting firms, government departments, banks and finance organisations, and corporate finance teams. Indicative international tuition is around A$57,640 per year.
