Admissions
A selection rank of at least 63 (ATAR plus adjustment factors), or 24 points in the IB Diploma, or NZ Year 13 NCEA Level 3 university entrance, or an appropriate Avondale-approved entrance exam score, for school leavers not currently in Year 12; an Australian Certificate IV or III (or equivalent NZ certificate) for VET entrants; at least 2 completed Bachelor's units, a bridging/enabling course, or 3 completed units of Avondale's Undergraduate Certificate in University Preparation for those who have already attended university; overseas qualifications assessed under Avondale's Admission Policy (HE) Appendix 1. All applicants must complete and submit the Personal Statement for Initial Teacher Training (PSITE) for Course Convenor assessment. Applicants holding a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher) are eligible for a minimum of 8 units of advanced standing, with additional credit possible for approved early childhood work experience as a room leader.
