Teaching qualifications in Australia are the Bachelor of Education and the graduate-entry Master of Teaching (primary or secondary) for people who already hold a bachelor's in a teaching area. Both are accredited by state teacher regulatory authorities.
Teaching has higher English requirements than most fields, usually IELTS 7.5 with 8.0 in speaking and listening, set by the regulators. Programs include supervised practicum in schools. Fees are moderate, often in the high AUD 20,000s to low AUD 30,000s.
Migration angle. Secondary teachers in maths, science, and languages are consistently on skilled lists and nominated by several states. Primary teaching is more variable. Registration with a state teaching authority is required to work.

Entry requirements for Education
The university's own bar for entry to the Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching is usually a standard postgraduate-level IELTS 6.5 to 7.0, not the higher figure above. IELTS 7.5 overall with 8.0 in speaking and listening and no band below 7.0 is what a state teacher regulatory authority (VIT, NESA, and their equivalents elsewhere) requires to actually register once you graduate, so budget for a second, harder English test late in your degree if you didn't already clear it at entry.
The degree needs to be an accredited initial teacher education program with a minimum of 45 days of supervised teaching practice, documented by your university with the exact number of days, age range taught, and school setting. A qualification without that documentation will not satisfy a registration authority later, whatever the degree title says.
