About this program
The Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood is Holmes Institute's one year postgraduate qualification for career changers moving into early childhood education, approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) as equivalent to an approved educator qualification under the National Quality Framework. It combines coursework in child development, pedagogy and inclusive practice with a supervised professional placement, and every unit credits into the second year of the Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) for students who continue toward full teacher registration.
