Graduate Certificate in Tertiary and Adult Education
Murdoch University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
The Graduate Certificate in Tertiary and Adult Education suits those transitioning into education from another discipline, or already working in an adult learning context, such as lecturers, adult educators, facilitators, professional development facilitators, instructors, or trainers. Students examine the concepts, theories, and practice of adult education and choose electives aligned with their interests, such as Cultural Diversity in the Workplace and the Community, Curriculum Development for Practitioners, and Practical Methods of Instruction. This qualification supports adult and tertiary education roles rather than registration as a school teacher, so it does not lead to the state teaching registration required for primary or secondary teaching. This course is delivered by Murdoch University in Western Australia.
