About this program
The Graduate Certificate in Education at Victoria University is the first step in VU's graduate program in education, tailored to trainers and teachers in education, community, government and industry. Students gain an overview of current high-level education theory and contemporary techniques in approaches to learning, educational leadership for social justice, innovation in education, and vocational education and training policy and practice, and conduct their own workplace research. Successful completion gains admission to the Graduate Diploma in Education, which leads into the Master of Education. This course does not provide registration to teach in Australia. It is offered at VU in Melbourne.
