Course structure
- Year 1: three specialisation units plus Assessment 1 (Level 2 Consolidated, Stage A)
- Education in the Global Context, Contemporary Issues in Assessment, Inquiry Based Practice, plus Assessment 2 (Level 3 Demonstrated, Stage A). Specialisations available in Educational Leadership, Inclusive and Special Education: Policy, Practice and Leadership, Leadership in Early Childhood Education, Literacy Education, Mathematics Education (Secondary), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Trauma Informed Care in Education, and Wellbeing and Behaviour in Education. Total: 1 year full time, on campus at Joondalup or online, also available in an Accelerated Online mode

Admissions
An initial teacher education (ITE) qualification. Applicants without an ITE qualification may be given special consideration if they can demonstrate extensive relevant professional experience in education or training combined with other relevant qualifications. Also satisfied by a Bachelor degree, or equivalent prior learning including at least five years of relevant professional experience. Some specialisations carry their own additional admission requirements.
