Bachelor of Commerce
Bond University, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia
About this program
Bond runs the Bachelor of Commerce over two years (six semesters) on its three-semesters-a-year calendar, so students finish a year sooner than a standard Australian three-year degree. First year is largely fixed: accounting principles, management accounting, principles of economics, fundamentals of finance, and a responsible-organisations subject, alongside one of Bond's cross-disciplinary core subjects. In second year students take one major from Accounting, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, Economics, or Finance, with room for a second major or a minor.
The degree is accredited by CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and the business school holds AACSB and EQUIS accreditation. Finance students work in the Bond FinTech Hub, which has 40 Bloomberg terminals and offers Bloomberg certification. A supervised business internship is available as an elective, and a semester on exchange can replace electives.
