About this program
A two-year accelerated degree (six semesters) covering anatomy, physiology, molecular and biomedical science, psychology of health, and laboratory research skills. First year is heavily structured (around 15 compulsory health science subjects plus Bond's core subjects and directed electives); electives let students weight the degree toward sport and exercise science, nutrition, psychology, or biomedical science.
The one named specialisation is Healthcare Informatics, available as a six-subject major or four-subject minor, covering health data and systems. The degree is mainly used as a feeder into postgraduate practice programs: students can progress directly into the Master of Occupational Therapy or Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice, or into research and honours. Transfer into Biomedical Science is possible after the first year with a maths prerequisite.
