About this program
A two-year degree (six semesters) taught through the Bond Business School. First year covers sport governance, sport communication, sport development, and sports law alongside Bond's core subjects; second year adds sport public relations, managing high-performance sport, event management, and general business subjects.
Work-integrated learning runs through the degree: students are expected to take internships and volunteer at events, working with local and national sport organisations, professional teams, and Olympic sports based on the Gold Coast. Subjects are taught by practitioners who consult to professional and Olympic sport. Students also have access to the Centre for Data Analytics for the growing sport analytics side of the industry. The degree suits students aiming at roles in club and league administration, events, sponsorship, or athlete management.
