Master of Accounting (Professional)
Bond University, Gold Coast, QLD, Australia
About this program
The work-integrated learning version of Bond's Master of Accounting. The coursework is the same conversion sequence as the standard degree, running from accounting principles, economics and finance through management and financial accounting, company reporting, business law, taxation, auditing and data analytics, and it carries the same CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants ANZ accreditation. What the Professional version adds is a compulsory 20-week Work Integrated Learning component in the final semester, taken after all coursework is complete: a professional placement in an Australian organisation plus a reflective professional portfolio. That extends the degree to about five semesters. Cognate graduates can still receive up to 40 credit points of advanced standing. It is open to international students only; domestic students take the standard Master of Accounting. It suits students who want a supervised Australian internship built into the qualification.
