Bachelor of Business Studies

Charles Sturt University, Multi-campus, regional NSW, Australia

About this program

The Bachelor of Business Studies is CSU's broad, flexible business degree: a general foundation in accounting, marketing, management and economics with room to build a major, delivered heavily online to suit the working students and regional cohorts CSU has traditionally served. It's a less specialised alternative to CSU's dedicated agribusiness or wine business degrees, aimed at students who want conventional business career options (accounting, marketing, HR, management) rather than an industry-specific angle.

Students choose a major from areas such as Accounting, Marketing, Human Resource Management or Management partway through the degree, and the course is commonly taken part-time by people already working, using CSU's long-standing distance and online study infrastructure. A work-integrated learning or capstone subject in the final year ties the major together with a practical project, often completed in the student's existing workplace for part-time students.
