About this program
CQU's Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (Honours) (CL10) develops the theoretical and technical knowledge of laboratory medicine needed for diagnostic practice, including 560 hours of experience in an accredited pathology laboratory. Students build technical and evaluative skills for patient testing and monitoring, alongside communication skills for working with patients and health professionals. Graduates pursue employment as Medical Laboratory Scientists, conducting tests used to diagnose, treat and prevent disease.
