About this program
CQU's Diploma of Music (CC41, Mackay campus, delivered through the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music) develops musical knowledge and performance skills across western art music, jazz and contemporary music, with one-on-one instrumental or vocal tuition from conservatorium staff, and specialist training in composition or singer/songwriting. Students can articulate into the second year of the Bachelor of Music. Graduates pursue roles as professional musicians, studio teachers, or in arts administration and creative industries.

Admissions
