About this program
CQU's Graduate Diploma of Project Management (CV81) explores project management principles based on recognised international standards, guidelines and frameworks, using case studies aligned to a range of career paths. It develops technical skills across project initiation, bidding, tendering, planning, design, procurement, execution, reporting, commissioning and handover, alongside human skills in stakeholder management, communication, team building and negotiation. It is designed as a direct pathway into CQU's Master of Project Management.

1 term of coursework
- 8 units (48 credits): 7 core units (Project Management Concepts, Initiating and Planning Projects, Leading Lean Projects, Executing and Closing Projects, Contract and Procurement Management, Portfolio and Program Management, and Research Proposal) plus one elective (Effective Business Communications, or Research Proposal if not already taken as core). Students intending to continue into the Master of Project Management are advised to take Research Proposal
