About this program

Curtin University's Master of Professional Accounting degree. This program aims to develop internationally focused graduates who possess the financial, analytical, research and communication skills required of professional accountants. The course is designed for graduates of an undergraduate course, from a non-accounting background, who would like to study an accredited accounting course. The first ten units ensure that you meet the core competency requirements of CPA (Australia), Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and ACCA. A range of majors is available to allow you to extend your knowledge. Master Degrees (Coursework) prepare students to apply advanced knowledge for professional practice, scholarship and further learning corresponding to AQF level 9 qualifications.

In addition, you must meet Curtin's English language proficiency Applicants for a Master Degree (Coursework) are required to meet University academic and English language entry standards; Subject to the duration of the course applicants usually require a Bachelor Degree or equivalent (and may require relevant work experience), Bachelor Honours Degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma.
