Master of Professional Accounting
Curtin University, Perth, WA, Australia
About this program
Curtin University Master of Professional Accounting is an accredited accounting qualification for graduates from any discipline, including those with no accounting background. It is accredited by CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. After the first year students choose one of four majors, including a CPA Australia major and an Advanced Accounting major, and while enrolled they can receive tuition from Curtin academics to prepare for the external CPA Program professional-level examinations (CPA Program enrolment and exam fees are paid separately to CPA Australia). Entry requires an undergraduate degree in any discipline, or a Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting, plus Curtin English language requirements; credit for recognised prior learning can shorten the course. Indicative international tuition is around A$50,600 per year. Graduates work in professional accounting, audit, tax, management accounting and business advisory roles.
