About this program
The Bachelor of Health and Physical Education at Deakin University develops the critical skills, specialised knowledge and practical classroom experience needed to become a secondary health and physical education teacher. Students access industry-standard equipment and facilities, including an Elite Sports Precinct, and explore the art of movement, specialist teaching methods, applied sports science, biomechanics and motor learning. Supervised school placements build classroom readiness. Graduates are qualified to teach health and physical education in secondary schools.
