About this program
The Bachelor of Creative and Performing Arts (Honours) at Edith Cowan University gives students the opportunity to focus in depth on a research topic of their choice while receiving further research training at fourth-year Honours level. Students can concentrate on their chosen discipline, including Creative Arts, Dance or Performance Making, and are guided through refining a research topic and undertaking research that synthesises practical, theoretical and historical understanding, preparing them for postgraduate study or professional practice.

Admissions
Applicants must hold a Bachelor degree in dance, performing arts, visual arts, fine arts, screen production or creative writing, or equivalent, usually with a Weighted Average Mark of 70 percent or higher, and must attend an interview and submit a written research proposal. Dance applicants must also audition. Alternatively, a Bachelor degree in a cognate discipline, or equivalent prior learning including at least five years of relevant professional experience. International students must also provide secondary school results. Not accepted through ECUs Experience Based Entry Scheme.
