Year 1: Anatomy and Physiology 1, Sectional Anatomy and Comparative Imaging 1, Introduction to Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound, Health Communication
  • Semester 1Anatomy and Physiology 2, Sectional Anatomy and Comparative Imaging 2, Introduction to Pathophysiology, Foundations of Physics (Semester 2). Year 2: Indigenous Health, Ultrasound Physics and Instruments, Ultrasound Superficial Structures and Small Parts, Renal and Pelvic Ultrasound
  • Semester 1Upper Abdominal Ultrasound, Gynaecology and First Trimester Ultrasound, Human Reproduction Development and Ageing (Semester 2). Year 3: Vascular Doppler Ultrasound, Ultrasound of the Musculoskeletal System, an Introductory Sonography Clinical Placement
  • Second and Third Trimester Obstetric Ultrasound, Safety and Quality in Healthcare, an Intermediate Sonography Clinical Placement (Semester 2). Accredited by the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR). Total: 3 years full time, on campus at Joondalup
