- 450credit points of core units including 90 credit points of field placement, plus 2x15 credit point and 6x0-credit point assessment units. Year 1: Introduction to Social Work Practice, Introduction to Social Research, Understanding Culture and Power, Psychology of Motivation and Emotion (Stage A)
- Community Development, Knowledge for Social Work Practice, Introduction to Australian Society, Social Inclusion Diversity and Equity (Stage B). Year 2: Gender Families and Professional Practice, Human Behaviour in the Social Environment, Aboriginal Histories of the Present, Australian Government and Politics (Stage A)
- Human Rights and Social Justice, Community Health and Well-being, Theory and Practice for Child Protection, Research in Action (Stage B). Year 3: Organisational Contexts, Addictions and Practice, Human Services and Mental Health, Social Work Theory and Practice 1 (Stage C)
- Field Placement 1 (45 credit points), Social Work Theory and Practice 2 (Stage D). Year 4: Legal and Ethical Practice, Leadership in Social Work, Social Policy, Social Work Theory and Practice 3 (Stage A)
- Field Placement 2 (45 credit points), Social Work Theory and Practice 4 (Stage B). Total: 4 years full time, on campus at ECU South West (Bunbury)

All applicants must meet the academic admission requirements for this course. The indicative or guaranteed ATAR is as published where applicable, or academic admission requirements may be satisfied through completion of one of the following: AQF Certificate IV, 0.25 EFTSL of study at bachelor level or higher at an Australian higher education provider or equivalent, an Undergraduate Certificate, the Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test, a University Preparation Course, the Indigenous University Orientation Course, or the Experience Based Entry Scheme. For international students, requirements include secondary school results.
