  • Practicum 7Follows the same first three years as the Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Evidence-Based Practice in Speech Pathology, Introduction to Psychology, Language Across the Lifespan, Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2, Introductory Statistics, Professional Standards and Competencies, Language Models and Analytical Frameworks in Year 1; Health Research Methodology, Analysis of Sensorimotor Systems, Impact of Communication and Swallowing Disorders, Analysis of Speech and Language, Speech Pathology Assessment, Cultural Responsiveness, Treatment Principles in Year 2; Neurogenic Language and Cognitive Communication Disorders, Management of Speech and Language Disorders, Clinical Practicum 1 and 2, Management of Sensorimotor Disorders, Assessment and Management of Swallowing Disorders, Professional Issues in Speech Pathology in Year 3), then an Honours fourth year: Clinical Practicum 3, Disability and Communication, Preparation of Honours Thesis Proposal
  • Clinical Practicum 4, the Honours Research Project (Practicum 8). Accredited by Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). Total: 4 years full time, domestic students only, on campus at Joondalup
