1 term of coursework

  • Semester 1 of Year 1 covers Research Preparation: Principles and Approaches
  • Educational Research
  • and Thesis Preparation. From Semester 2 of Year 1 through Year 2
  • students are enrolled in the Thesis unit
  • re-enrolling each semester until submission for examination. Total: up to 2 years full time equivalent

Admissions

Applicants need a Weighted Average Mark of 70 percent or higher in a bachelor degree in law; applicants below this threshold should contact the Course Coordinator before applying. Academic admission requirements (Band 8) may be satisfied through completion of one of the following: a bachelor degree in a cognate discipline, or, where accepted, equivalent prior learning including at least five years of relevant professional experience.
