About this program
The Bachelor of Midwifery prepares students for a career providing woman-centred, evidence-informed and culturally safe care across pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period, in Australia and internationally. The curriculum is built around the Midwife Standards for Practice, and graduates become eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. The degree blends theoretical study with hands-on clinical placement so students graduate with practical confidence as well as academic grounding in the discipline.
