About this program
The Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) trains students to study, diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders, including difficulties with speech, language, fluency and voice arising from developmental delay, stroke, brain injury, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, dementia or hearing loss. Coursework builds knowledge of the anatomy and neurophysiology behind these impairments alongside core practical clinical skills. Graduates are prepared to work with people experiencing both communication difficulties and swallowing (dysphagia) problems across a range of clinical settings.
