Master of Philosophy

Federation University Australia, Ballarat, VIC, Australia

About this program

Federation's Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a two-year, full-time higher research degree completed solely by research, culminating in a substantial thesis or a portfolio of creative works with an accompanying exegesis. Candidates work closely with a supervisory team throughout their research journey, and Federation offers the MPhil across a broad range of discipline areas, each supervised within that specific field (for example, this listing's cohort undertakes projects within the field of education). It sits below the Doctor of Philosophy as Federation's mid-tier research qualification.
