About this program
The Master of Research for Practice enables experienced professionals to build research skills and the capacity to ask new questions, generate insights and shape practice in their chosen field. This 1.5-year full-time Higher Degree by Research pathway combines 18 units of coursework research topics with a 36-unit supervised research thesis, providing advanced research training and a supported entry into further HDR study, with the option for eligible students to transfer into a PhD. This qualification is not accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council and does not itself satisfy the requirements for registration as a psychologist.
