You'll develop strong clinical decision-making, problem-solving and critical thinking skills, while gaining a deep understanding of the human body, paramedic practice and the care of diverse conditions, diseases and trauma. Highlights of studying the Bachelor of Paramedicine Our small student intake means more personalised support, more opportunities for active participation and meaningful interaction and a closer connection with teaching staff. Our simulation facilities give you authentic, hands-on clinical experience using the same equipment as the Queensland Ambulance Service and other paramedicine organisations in Australia and overseas. Graduate prepared to confidently respond to a wide range of situations, helping to improve health and wellbeing. Open doors to international opportunities, allowing you to work in different countries and grow your career in paramedicine. Practical paramedicine experience Experience a variety of clinical placements that build your hands-on skills across different healthcare settings. You'll complete ambulance placements-4 weeks at the end of your first and second years, and 6 weeks in your final year-on a four on, four off roster. Non-ambulance placements are also available, giving you a well-rounded understanding of healthcare challenges and helping you refine your professional practice.
