About this program
The Master of Visual Arts at Griffith University is designed for practising artists and graduates seeking to deepen their creative knowledge and produce an ambitious body of work for exhibition. Through studio-based learning and research-led practice, students develop advanced studio practice across media including drawing, jewellery, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture, build visual literacy and critical analysis skills, and explore the philosophical, cultural and historical contexts that influence modern art practice. It runs one to two years full-time at the Queensland College of Art and Design.
