Bachelor of Fashion Business
Holmes Institute, Multi-campus (Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast), Australia
About this program
The Bachelor of Fashion Business is Holmes Institute's three year, fully online degree for students who want to work on the commercial side of fashion rather than design itself, covering marketing, merchandising, retail management, styling, e-commerce and global fashion strategy. It runs across four core themes (Marketing Engagement, Product Development, Business Skills and Fashion Contexts) with only March and July intakes, and the final year has students build their own fashion business plan and a portfolio aimed at employers.
Graduate roles are entry level (fashion marketing assistant, buying assistant, stylist assistant, e-commerce assistant, brand or marketing coordinator) with progression toward creative director, global fashion marketing manager or retail group general manager roles. Because the course is delivered fully online with no campus attendance, it suits students combining study with existing retail or fashion industry work, and international applicants must attend an interview and complete a skills assessment as part of admission, in addition to the standard document checks.
