Students who complete the Bachelor of Commerce pass degree can apply to progress into this End-on Honours year, an additional 24 credit points of supervised research and coursework at JCU's College of Business, Law and Governance, subject to the College Dean's approval and any quota on honours places. Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) [End-on] graduates finish with an AQF Level 8 honours qualification on top of their original degree, opening research and further-study pathways the pass degree alone does not.

Admissions

Completion of an AQF level 7 Bachelor Degree in Commerce or equivalent; and Achievement of an overall grade point average of 5.0 (i. e. credit average) across their bachelor degree, with credits or better in specific discipline areas. Entry to the Honours program is by invitation of the College Dean Applicants who graduated with a pass degree from another university or who graduated more than two years ago may be required to complete such coursework or assessment as the College Dean recommends.
