About this program
The Master of Professional Accounting is KBS's internationally recognised accounting master's, built around the same 12-subject accounting core used in the Master of Accounting but without that degree's business-analytics emphasis, aimed instead squarely at a pathway toward professional accounting accreditation. The 12 core subjects cover financial accounting, management accounting, advanced financial accounting, financial reporting, auditing and assurance, accounting information systems, business and corporations law, taxation law, economics, finance, and quantitative methods, closing with a capstone in accounting and governance. KBS markets the course as carrying industry accreditation from professional accounting bodies, giving graduates a recognised path into the profession alongside the critical thinking, analytical and corporate governance skills the degree is built to develop.
