About this program
The Diploma of Health Sciences at Macquarie University is a diploma. The course is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate health sciences degree and will facilitate articulation into the second year of an undergraduate course offered by the Faculty of Medicine and Human Sciences. Students be introduced to the fundamentals of human health and explore the social and societal factors that influence it, equipping yourself with the essential knowledge to make a meaningful impact in the health sector. As such, the Diploma has been specifically designed to develop the following four graduate capabilities: Capability 1. Scientist and Scholar: Graduates will be work-ready health scientists and research-informed scholars with the broad knowledge and skills required to address emerging and current health-related issues.
