About this program
The Master of Business Research is a genuine research higher degree, not a coursework master's: after a first-trimester grounding in either a Management stream (management, entrepreneurship and strategic management issues) or an Accounting stream (business analytics, business finance and accounting research issues), students move into dedicated research-skills units and then two full trimesters of supervised Research Thesis, producing an original contribution to the field with potential for journal publication. It functions as both a standalone research credential and a stepping stone toward a PhD.

Admissions
A bachelor's or master's degree in any field of study from an Australian higher education institution, or a qualification recognised as equivalent to an Australian bachelor's degree by the National Office of Overseas Skills Recognition (NOOSR). Applicants from a non-cognate background are reviewed individually and may be assigned conditional foundation studies before admission.
