About this program
The Master of Professional Accounting gives graduates from any discipline a broad grounding in accounting and how it fits into the wider business picture, covering foundations of accounting, economics, business statistics, accounting information systems, business and company law, financial and managerial accounting, auditing, taxation law and accounting research, closing with a mandatory Industry Based Capstone Project. It is designed as a professional-accreditation-oriented pathway (CPA Australia/CAANZ-relevant units) for career changers rather than a research degree.
Offered from the Sydney and Melbourne campuses over 2 years (4 trimesters), with three intakes a year.
