Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence

Monash University, Melbourne, VIC, Australia

About this program

The Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence is a three-year applied degree taught on campus at Clayton with February and July intakes, designed to help students identify where AI can create value and deliver reliable solutions responsibly and ethically. It offers two specialisations: applying existing AI tools to build and test solutions to real problems, or working with the foundational algorithms and models to advance the technology itself. Industry immersion is built in through professional practice units and work-integrated learning such as placements, so students graduate with a portfolio, and the course also covers the societal and environmental challenges of AI. Graduates work as AI and machine learning engineers, data scientists, and AI product and solutions specialists across business, healthcare, government, logistics and the creative industries.
